디지털 예술의 선구자로 불리는 미구엘 슈발리에의 전시 〈디지털 뷰티〉 가 아라아트센터에서 열립니다. 서울에서는 처음으로 열리는 개인전입니다. 미구엘 슈발리에는 지난 40년간 미지의 자연환경에 대한 깊이 있는 통찰력을 제시해왔으며 2D와 3D 기술을 사용하여 유기적이고 추상적인 움직임을 작품에 구현해왔습니다. 제너러티브 아트, 인터랙티브 아트, 가상현실 등을 활용한 그의 거대한 작품들은 5층 규모의 아라아트센터 건축 공간에 알맞게 설치되고 투영되면서 몰입력을 만들어 냅니다.
Ara Art Center presents Digital Beauty, the first solo show by Miguel Chevalier in Seoul. Miguel Chevalier is a poineer in the field of digital art. For the past 40 years, he has been developing artworks that use cutting-edge 2D and 3D technology to render organic and abstract forms in motion and to provide deeper insight into the often invisible complexities of the natural environment.
