The Buning Brongers Prize is a biennial Dutch art prize for young visual artists. The prizes are awarded by the Buning Brongers Foundation from the estate of Johan Buning, his wife Titia Brongers and his sister-in-law Jeanette Brongers.
The Buning Brongers Prize has been in existence since 1966 and is the largest private art prize in the Netherlands. The prize has now been awarded to 150 artists . The prize is accompanied by a cash prize of €4,500. For the winners, an exhibition will be organized in Arti et Amicitiae at the award ceremony and a catalog will be published. The candidates for the prize are nominated by art schools.
In 2020, the award ceremony took place on Friday 2 October at Arti et Amiciti ae in Amsterdam. The exhibition was on display there until October 18, 2020.
