아트사이드 갤러리는 1999년 인사동 개관이래 사이드(Side), ‘예술이란 주변의 끊임없는 중심화’라는 신조로, 국내외 작가들에게 창작 활동 방향을 다양하게 제시하며 작가와 미술 시장의 경계를 잇는 통로의 역할을 지향하고 있습니다. 또한, 아트사이드가 가진 신념과 시각을 바탕으로 한국과 중국 등 아시아와 유럽 등지의 역량 있는 작가들의 다양한 작품과 작품세계를 국내외 미술계에 소개하는 데 앞장서 왔습니다.

2010년 통의동으로 이전하여 다수의 역량 있는 작가들을 지속해서 발굴하고 양성해오며, 아트사이드 갤러리만의 색깔을 지닌 작품들로 새롭고 참신한 전시기획을 꾸준히 해오고 있습니다. 이와 함께 여러 국내외 아트페어 참여를 통해 국제 미술 시장의 문화를 개방하고 국제적 규모의 갤러리로 자리매김했습니다.

2023년 9월 오픈한 아트사이드 템포러리는 정형화된 전시장의 성격을 탈피하고 새롭고 도전적인 전시를 선보이면서, 갤러리의 역할에 대해 고민함과 동시에 예술의 진정성을 부여합니다. 이 공간에서는 차별화된 시선으로 작가와 작품을 바라보고 기존의 관념들을 지워 신선한 충격과 예술의 가치에 대해 담론할 수 있는 전시를 모색하고 있습니다.

아트사이드 갤러리는 앞으로도 국제 문화 예술계에 진출을 확장하기 위한 중요한 통로와 기반이 되고자 미술계의 새로운 흐름과 방향에 발맞추어 아트사이드 갤러리만의 특색 있는 전시와 작품 컬렉션을 통해 독창성을 이어 나가고자 합니다.

Artside Gallery, opened in Insa-dong in 1999, embraces the philosophy that "art is the constant centralization of the surroundings." It aims to serve as a bridge connecting artists and the art market by providing various creative directions to domestic and international artists. Additionally, based on its beliefs and perspectives, Artside Gallery has been at the forefront of introducing the diverse works and artistic worlds of talented artists from Korea, China, Asia, Europe, and beyond to the domestic and international art scene.

Having relocated to Tongui-dong in 2010, the gallery continues to discover and nurture a multitude of talented artists, presenting innovative and fresh exhibition plans with the distinct taste of Artside Gallery's own colors. Through participation in various domestic and international art fairs, the gallery has opened up the culture of the international art market and established itself as a gallery of international scale.

Artside Temporary, which opened in September 2023, breaks away from the conventional nature of exhibition spaces and presents new and challenging exhibitions, contemplating the role of the gallery while bestowing authenticity upon the art. This space aims to look at artists and artworks with a differentiated perspective, erase existing notions, and seek exhibitions where fresh shocks and discussions on the value of art can be held.

Artside Gallery will continue to be a crucial pathway and foundation for expanding into the international cultural and art world. It aims to align itself with the new trends and directions in the art world, continue its uniqueness through distinctive exhibitions and art collections, and maintain its originality.
